to 11,500 acres of land and river teaming with wildlife draw the visitor to
this state park. Four scenic nature trails and a bicycle trail provide rare
opportunities to glimpse endangered and unique animals like the bald eagle,
Florida sandhill crane, and gopher tortoise.
The
Loxahatachee River winds its way through the park, passing under a canopy of
cypress trees. The park has boat rides, canoeing, picnic areas, campgrounds,
and fresh water fishing.

unique environment is home to a nature center, boardwalk through wetlands, and
interpretive displays. Visitation is by appointment only. Tours and
environmental education opportunities may be arranged by calling the number

JUNO BEACH
JUNO BEACH PARK:

oceanfront (900 feet), nature trail, picnic area, bike path, four tennis courts
and children's play area. Marinelife Center/627-8280, sponsors group sea turtle
watches in its season and a sea life education center.
JUPITER
CARLIN PARK:

oceanfront area with 3,000 feet of rocky beach and hiking trails. Open sunrise
to sunset. BBQ grills and covered tables, with fresh water available. Get there
early to get a table!
JUPITER BEACH PARK:

oceanfront beach (1,700 feet) with a fishing jetty and lifeguards. New enlarged
fishing pier to open fall/winter of 1997!
DUBOIS PARK:

beach (29 acres) with lifeguards on weekends and holidays only during winter
months, Dubois House Museum.
BURT REYNOLDS PARK:

Rocky
beach surrounded by the Intracoastal waterway; boat slips, boat launching
ramps, picnic shelters, Loxahatchee Historical Museum.
LAKE PARK
KELSEY PARK:

6.5-acre park featuring a children's area and tennis courts, shuffleboard
lanes, shelters and a bandstand.
LAKE PARK BALL PARK:

oceanfront beach (600 ft.) with rock formations and 600 feet of Intracoastal
waterway frontage. Lifeguard on duty.

45-acre community park featuring softball, baseball, tennis, soccer, and other
